I’m proud of my son in so many ways. He chooses to be patient and kind. His mind functions in a logical manner and he uses it to organize his day well (and mine!) He knows how to be a good friend, and he has a fabulous understanding of how to be a big brother. He is a man of few verbal words, but don’t let that fool you. He takes life in. With his father‘s flair for anything techie related, he has entered the blogging world with gusto!
Just like his father, he has a gift. I have LOVED reading his thoughts. He’s a great listener. He takes his time to process. And now, he’s choosing to share his thoughts with the world.
Here’s his recap of his basketball game yesterday…
December 4 2011
1st half was horrible for my team. We were being out hustled and UA wanted the ball more then my team. The score was not even close at half-time my team was losing by a lot. But then the coaches got into us and we did what they said and the result was a win for the Wildcats. It was a crazy game we were fouling them but they missed the free throws and then we got the rebound a bunch of times went down to the other side of the court and got the job done. Here it is in the last 45 seconds… 30-30 the score there best shooter and point guard is at the free throw line shooting, they are in the bonus, he misses the first free throw and I get the rebound pass it to our point guard and he dribbles it up the court looking to see if someone is open… he is at the three point line and there is someone open at the block (My best friend Chase) our point guard throws it to chase… layup… YEAH!!! Everyone in the crowd for our team is jumping up and down and screaming… 24 seconds left. UA brings the ball down and turns it over and then we have the ball. Our coach calls a time out with 8 seconds left. He tells us to do a stack and get the ball and dribble it around and waste the time so we will win. Good thing they didn’t foul and then THE WILDCATS WIN!!
Feel free to stop by at any time and leave him a comment! Encouragement always does the soul good! God bless!
When he arrived and saw what the grace of God had done, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts.
